R.I.P. Bryan Barrow-10/27/1991-3/14/2009

As you all may know by now, our good friend Bryan Barrow passed away late last night/early this morning in a car accident.

Bryan was the most caring, compassionate, and down-right gnarly dude I've ever met. He was the most selfless person I have ever been friends with-always caring of others before himself. He was always so down for everything-never complained at a spot, always wanted to skate anything. We just recently put him on Studio, which was going to be the start of everything. The Vans rep was going to be in town on April 1st, and we had planned to go out today to handle a few more things for his tape--which would have landed him on definate Vans flow. But God took him too soon from us.. and I won't be able to finish his sponsor tape for him, and he won't be able to get free shoes every month.. or have his finished part in the Studio video.

My deepest sympathies and compassion go out to the Barrow family. Erik, you too bro.

From me to you Bryan...

Bryan.. you have no idea how I'm feeling. I can't even put to words and express everything.. I miss you so much already bro, we had some damn good times, and you got a lot of amazing footage. Man I'll never forget that bail you took at that track flatbar.. you hit your face so gnarly! Worst bail I've ever filmed! I'd so much rather you have a busted up face right now than gone man.... You were supposed to throw hammers today man!! To get your tape ready for Vans! We had plans and everything... Not a day will go by that I don't think about you. I hope you heard what I said this morning in the hospital room man... Shit popped off at OP for you today-everyone was shredding for you, as will it tomorrow. I know you'll always be with us when we're skating. I love you bro, rest and skate in peace. No one will ever forget you, ever. Everything from here on out is dedicated to you.

Studio should put out a Barrow tribute shirt. Or a deck maybe? I know I'd buy em. I just skated with the kid for the first time not even a week ago. It blows man.

I would definitely but one of those shirts. You could use the money towards his funeral
